Design Statement

My goal was to select an object that had not yet been chosen by others, while still effectively conveying the core objective of the assignment. I wanted to challenge myself with something unique and visually compelling. During the process, I encountered several obstacles — one of the most significant being the shininess of the object, which made capturing its form and details particularly difficult. This challenge led me to hand-draw every small detail, requiring a high level of precision and focus.

Through patience and time, I was able to work through these difficulties. After multiple iterations and a good deal of experimentation, I arrived at my final design. The process pushed me to develop my technical skills and refine my eye for detail, ultimately resulting in a piece I’m proud of.
